Presented by Venture Med Group
More Information
Balloon angioplasty is the standard of care in AV access maintenance. Although a successful PTA procedure may provide a positive immediate result, recurrent stenosis with reduced patency is common, and can often lead to repeat intervention with 6-month patency rates from 25-78%. This panel will discuss the use of FLEX Vessel Prep procedure demonstrating improved outcomes in real- world patients.
Speakers and Panel Members:
- Moderator: John Aruny, MD, Dialysis Access Institute, Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg, South Carolina
- John Ross, MD, Medical Director, The Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg, South Carolina - Data deep dive and FLEX Vessel prep in AV real world use
- Terry F Litchfield, MPA, CPC, President, Access Solutions - Patient Perspective highlighting disparities in treatment with Registry Data and societal implications
- Jordan Knepper, MD MSc, Associate Professor Michigan State – Economic value of utilizing FLEX in AV Maintenance
- Q&A to the panel from audience
