Hemodialysis Access

Highlights of the Hands-On Practicum
• See and discuss interesting access procedures.
• Learn about new devices and utilize anastomotic
techniques in live animal laboratory.
• Implant new graft materials in animal models.
• Hands-on experience with new endovascular
techniques.
Separate program for Nurses and Technicians including
assessment of fistulas and grafts, participation in
procedure discussions, equipment workshops and
Buttonhole technique workshop.
Enjoy the weekend in the Portland area including
available wine tours, trips to Mt. Hood, Columbia River Gorge, art gallery tours on “First Thursday”, arts and crafts at Portland’s Saturday Market and the Rose Gardens and Japanese Garden at Washington Park.

Benson Hotel in Downtown Portland.
